The SWAC recommended VCU Police improve communications and outreach. The following is a progress update on two important initiatives. 

• VCU Police continues to work with a student life committee with University Student Affairs, Fraternity & Sorority Life and Student Conduct. 

• VCU Police, University Public Affairs and VCU Technology Services conducted research on the current VCU Police website and websites from other institutions. This information will inform the design of a new site that will best meet the needs of VCU community members. Work continues on this project. 

• The VCU Police website links directly to University Counseling’s new virtual care service, TimelyCare.
